Dr. Gwen Lee-Thomas is the CEO of Quality Measures, LLC, a Virginia-based consulting firm specializing in program and project evaluation, team-building, and organizational capacity development. As an external evaluator, Gwen has conducted STEM-H evaluations funded by NSF, DOD, DOJ, HRSA, Dept. of Education, Dept. of Energy and others in over $100M.
Gwen synthesizes her broad array of experiences as an Executive Assistant to two College/University Presidents, governmental agencies, consultant on Institutional Effectiveness with three regional accrediting agencies (SACS-COC, MSCHE, and HLC), discipline-specific accreditation with ABET, and community based organizations support her clients evaluation needs. She has served as a graduate faculty member at two research-intensive universities and has conducted over 100 evaluations for two and four-year colleges and universities. Gwen has served as a Commissioner on the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, state board chair for the Indiana Minority Health Coalition, and is a reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission.
Sherrell Hendrix is the owner of Strategic Solutions LLC; a woman-owned, small business that specializes in providing education research and program evaluation services. Her mission is to empower decision-makers to make strategic decisions regarding their programs and bring value to each project.
Sherrell’s professional experiences began in residence life. She worked as a Resident Director at Bridgewater College for two years after gaining a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The University of Virginia in 2009. She then gained her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Old Dominion University (ODU) in 2013. She worked as the Assistant Director for Assessment and Planning within the Student Engagement and Enrollment Services division at ODU. She also worked as a Research Associate for the Office of Institutional Research at ODU.
Sherrell is currently the Manager for Operational Effectiveness at Green Dot Public Schools Tennessee. In this role, she is responsible for daily student transportation, state compliance reporting, vendor contract monitoring, and the provision of an extensive extended learning programming. She is also pursuing a Doctoral degree in Education Leadership at ODU.

Dr. ‘Shawn Smith is a professional statistician and quantitative research strategist with nearly two decades of expertise in delivering high quality and actionable solutions to data-driven clientele via a wide variety of univariate and multivariate techniques. Passionate about bridging gaps between complex data environments and core business needs, ‘Shawn is particularly well-versed in providing scientifically valid data, observations, and data illustrations to key decision makers.
Currently, Gail is seeking her certification in mathematics and reading comprehension for middle school. Previously Gail was the Director of Education at Delta Technical College supervising 25 faculty and lead instructors in program development, implementation, and evaluation for compliance and accreditation. Prior to her director’s position, she taught and mentored low-income, at-risk, and adult populations in preparation for their GED, workforce, and trade-sector career goals. Prior to transitioning to education, she served domestic and international customers as a Trade Execution Specialist with manufacturing companies along the gulf coast for 25 years. During this time, she has served on various Supply Chain teams to control, produce, and deliver quality products to the company’s end users. Gail has been a focal point for all interested parties of contractual sales to troubleshoot inquiries and complaints for global customers, in addition to winning several awards for developing and implementing procedures that resolved ongoing problems and complaints from the customer base. Briefly, Gail has conducted customer service workshops and taught courses in Business Concepts, Personnel Management, Customer Service, Communications, Economics, Project Management, (Life Skills), Microsoft Office, and Cultural Diversity. Gail has an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) Executive Management Program with a concentration in Healthcare Management, and two Bachelor’s degrees in General Business and Management from SLU and Louisiana State University (LSU).
